. NEW YEAR

Say the internet causes diminished attention spans and worse, fragmented thinking skills. Every curiosity becomes a search term and we devolve down to idiocracy. Seems like you're watching too many opinion pieces posing as actual news, Mrs. Klebowitz. Humans are adaptive and intellectualized to where we know when we went one click too many. That takes us to today's provocative topic: reckoning.

We used to reckon situations as kids to figure out how to stay out of trouble with our parents. It bode us well. Leap to today and we're inundated with mass reckoning where quest for the truth used to be the norm. Add addiction to pain pills and idolization of richy rich and we've got a situation now. We can't practice eugenics and strain the people pool but stopping the madness requires knowledge-based revamping of tolerance levels of simpledom. Feel the difference? If you just say it then it's out there and the orderliness of the universe takes over. That wasn't so demagogic now, was it? Google wasn't used once for this and the focus is still in focus leaving everyone better than before.

I do, I still do 17 years later. Full range of tools with minor tweaks needed is better than chopsticks as a soup ladel. All or nothing at all.
